Hello

I am soon adopting a 3 year old dog who lived in a backyard all his life, he is currently an outside dog, not allowed in the house AT ALL. He is treated well, well fed and all. But when I take him, he will be in doors.

I have never owned a dog before and I am pretty anxious about it.

- Is it a good idea to sleep with the lights off?
- Will he be chewing on wires
- will he chew on my stuff????

Also the dog is epileptic. He has to take 6 pills a day. His episodes are horrible and heartbreaking. Poor boy cries after his seizure asking us to make it stop. Poor baby!

He is also a smart boy, he doesn’t like taking his pills. He spits them out or sometimes refuses to eat food that has the pill crushed in.

Any tips on getting an outside dog into a home that will now let him in???
