2 puppies will be a lot of work plus an "almost" teenage dog...but...if you can provide the dedication and commitment needed it can be done. I had 3 young dogs at the same time and came out alive, lol. Only you know what you can handle and it seems like you have already discussed the possibility of it being too much and having a back-up plan if that becomes the case. Good luck and keep up updated on the new addition's progress.
