Heya folks,
I hope this isn't too weird, but....
My 3 month old female Bully hasn't been having any issues, but I'm curious if any experienced owners of this breed can shed some light on keeping my girl clean in the nethers since an EB's anatomy doesn't allow for her to reach herself. How much cleaning is too much?
I give her a good wipe down with unscented pet wipes every other day (or as needed) and clean around her vulva (with warm water) and, of course, under her tail (she has a very good tail, though! No tail pocket to really worry about, but I still clean her there for good measure).
We're going for a vet appointment on Friday for her last round of shots, so I'll bring this question up with her doc, but I figured I'd post this here as well. Always good to hear from fellow Bully owners. She's my first experience with this breed, but I've had dogs before, so an EB's particular grooming needs are interesting compared to the GSD's. I have to admit that when I chose this breed, I didn't think of having to help clean their junk, HAH! Nobody really mentions that part of their care. That's all right, though. She's worth the trouble
