My parents found Lily a little over a year ago as a stray in the woods of GA (she was maybe 6 months old). She's come a long way with socialization and leash training; however, the 4th of July fireworks have completely ruined her nighttime walking.
During the day, she's great! When the sun sets though, she becomes extremely fearful (indoors too). On walks, she'll pull on her leash to go home, but we just pull her along and try to distract her. It's very frustrating, since our other dog loves walks. Food doesn't motivate her whatsoever, and we just don't know what to do from here. Any suggestions?

Try a thundershirt on her. Also, lots of hot dogs. If you can find a few spots along your route where you can scatter hot dogs into the grass for her to search out, great. Nosework exercises are a great reward for dogs that calms them down. The prospect of scoring hot dog at night should have her looking forward to nighttime walks.
