Yesterday I took my 14 year old dog to a trial day at a new kennel. They reported he had a great day and was very energetic.

Well this morning I noticed some grayish eye gunk in the inner corner of his eyes, something that he’s never had before. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him, but is this just something normal like eye boogers that’ll go away on its own, or should I take him to a vet?

Here’s a few photos:

Yes, some warm water and a soft cloth if you can. NO salty water. It's likely to be some form of conjunctivitis, which can be passed from dog to dog. If it persists over the course of a week, turns a bright greenish yellow or the eye itself clouds, see your vet.
