Ella hates the mailman

Hi!
First, you should try to find out why she acts like that. Does she do it to whoever comes to your house? Is it just the mailman? Is she showing ALOT of aggression or excitement?When he comes, you should act like nothing is going on - listen to music/distract yourself. Maybe Ella thinks he is trying to hurt you in some way.
I think after that, you should get someone to pretend to be a mailman. Get them to go to the door and give the letters or whatever, and then leave. Five minutes later, do the same thing. Repeat this, giving Ella a treat each time he comes (ONLY BEFORE SHE ACTS NAUGHTY!). That way she should associate the mailman coming with something good. If nothing works, get your 'mailman' to come into the house and have coffee with you or something. Ella should learn that he is not a threat. Good luck!

I can't remember where I herd this but it made sense. The mail man comes every day and the dog barks and makes a fuss and the mailman leaves, job done. Same with the ups driver, my dogs hear the truck bark until the driver drops the package job done. They have protected their domain.
