Hello.
I posted on here a few weeks ago about my dog who was diagnosed with Ehrlichia. He will begin antibiotics again soon, along with a stray I recently adopted who happens to have Ehrlichia as well. They will both be on antibiotics for 6-8 weeks, so I am looking into purchasing probiotics to replenish the good bacteria in their digestive tracts! Has anyone had any luck with a certain brand of doggie probiotics to give while on antibiotics?

Hi doglover,

When I forst brought my young puppy home he had an extremely upset stomach. I used Protexin Pro-Kolin which was administered through a plastic mouth syringe around 20 minutes before food. It was issued in the form of a yoghurt like paste through the end of the plastic mouth piece. It was very succesful, give it a try.
