Stella loves her frisbees. So much so that they get chewed up rather quickly. I stopped using the cheap plastic ones because she not only destroyed them in one short play session but occasionally her mouth would bleed and I didn't like that. I've been getting the "toy r us" brand frisbees at Petsmart. They typically last a good deal longer than the plastic ones but if she's really enthusiastic she can destroy them quickly too. Anyone have any suggestions of good, sturdy frisbees (or frisbee-like toys)? Thanks

Jaws discs from hyperflite are on the expensive side, but designed to hold up to dog with hard mouths.

I bought a couple of the Super hero discs and they've held up fantasticly to Karma. I bought them blems though since they were cheaper

The Jawz k10 disc is probably the most durable disk out there. The hero aero, and super hero are both great durable disks. The super hero is a bit more durable than the aero, but the aero is a bit lighter and flies a little better.

Also there are the kong and nylabone frisbees. Kong comes in both red and black, black being the stronger frisbee. Unfortunatly the kongs don't fly great but they work. Zak george loves the nylabone frisbees, and says their durable and they fly beautifully.

Hope this helped. :) Frisbee is a fun way to bond with a dog.

I don't have any suggestions for strong plasticish sturdy ones since I have the same problem with Sawyer. I usually use the kong Frisbee (red), its floppy so it doesn't fly the best but its lasted really well. It works pretty well if you toss it more on its side especially for shorter distances. It goes pretty far if you just throw for distance (not like a plastic one though) and doesn't have great directionality, but for generally Frisbee play/general play its nice to have. And since its soft you can use it indoors too (really just less off a chance of breaking something vrs a plastic Frisbee lol)
