Hi all, hope everyone is well! I'm wondering if anyone has dulled a stripping and/or carding knife before? (I have a westie I've hand-stripped, but I'm now going to try it with tools for the first time.) I've googled and there's a plethora of vague ideas regarding how to dull these knives (sand, bricks, files), but I feel like they're not detailed enough, like how to actually do the dulling, and how long to do it for, and what you're looking for as an end result. Can anyone give me some experienced directions on how to dull these knives before first use? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
