Unlike cats, all the dogs i've had (other than the newest who hasn't had the experience yet) loved the laser at first and then got bored.

I'm not a fan of video monitors in the first place, especially not for pets. I get that other folks like that, but it's not for me.

Also, if I'm not home, chances are I am doing something that requires my focus. Spending time playing with my dog or cat by distance would be pretty distracting from work and whatever else!
