I have a year old chipoo who was doing perfectly fine in potty training up until a few months ago.
He would not pee in his crate over night or during the day. He is now suddenly always mega thirsty and will even stay on the own licking the dew off the grass. He also can’t sleep through the night without crying to potty and will always potty in his crate during the day. Sometimes, I find tiny spots of urine in his crate. As if he couldn’t control it. I’ve done some reading and he gives the signs of a UTI. Are there any home remedies for this before I can take him to vet? Or is there anything I’m doing wrong that causes this? Any advice or similar experiences?

Him being thirsty all the time is extremely concerning. There are a lot of illnesses that can present with excessive thirst, including cushings and diabetes. Bring him in to the vet for a check.
