My dog really loves other people, other dogs, anyone she meets on walks. She used to just start prancing like a show dog every time she saw someone outside during our walks, but now that summer is around and there are more people outside, she takes a different route. She'll just plop down, wherever we're at, and she won't move a muscle until the people come over and pet her. She's a big, heavy dog, and she's awfully stubborn. I can usually pull her up eventually (if the people don't come over and pet her), but she fights a lot. Is there a better way of correcting the behavior?
