We've had our dog for a little over a year and she is house trained well. Except for a very occasional accident, she is very good at letting us know when she has to go out. But over the past couple of months she has peed on our bed a few times. She sleeps in the bed with us so I don't understand why she would pee there. Does anyone have any ideas on why she is doing this and how we can stop it?

Changes in behavior like this require a vet visit. Inappropriate peeing could be a UTI, spay incontinence, diabetes meilitus, diabetes insipidus, etc. A lot of those things are very treatable, so don't wait!

What dog food are your feeding her? My dog had excessive water drinking and bladder control issues a few months back when he was on Blue Buffalo. (hint: do NOT feed them BB) A vet can tell you what condition they have and recommend medication but sometimes the dog food is the root of the problem.
