Hi.
I had an Ancol police style double ended lead , it was a really good lead and the only reason we stopped using it was our dog chew it to bits one night .
We then bought a MAG police style lead but the dog was able to make the trigger hook open and get away ( very unsafe as we are beside busy roads )

Ive seen lots of leads use a "Trigger Snap " style hook , but to me they look like if the dog was to pull it would manage to open it too .
Has anybody had any experience with those ?

What lead/leash do you use and swear by ?

Or if you make your own where do you buy the triggers from ? :)

Bull snaps! There's no breaking those! They're heavy though, so one thing to be mindful of... My favorite lead is a 6ft leather lead with a bull snap from Stillwater.

Instead of pushing it in, you pull the clasp part out.

I have a couple nylon leads with bull snaps too:

Ella's lead offers them, otherwise Stillwater Kennel Supply is where I got my leather one.
