Ok...let's start by posting the abbriviations here as we think of them or come across them. If we get enough, hopefully we can get the powers that be to create a sticky out of them near the top of the threads (maybe along with the introductions thread?).

I like PB as pure bred APBT for am pit bull terrier, etc lol but thats just me. Definitely great idea..sometimes I stare at the screen for minutes just to figure out what is said

CC = Counter conditioning, sometimes (rarely) classical conditioning
RG, RGing = Resource guarding
SA = separation anxiety
DS = Desensitization
DA, DR = Dog aggressive/reactive
HA, HR = Human aggressive/reactive
BF = Barrier frustration
+R, +P, -R, -P = quadrant short forms for positive reinforcement, positive punishment, negative reinforcement, negative punishment (in that order). More info in the sticky on quadrants.

OC: Operant Conditioning
CU- Control Unleashed, book/video by Leslie McDevitt, a general approach that involves teaching dog (and handler) to remain relaxed in various situations, and to re-frame the scary/stressful situations into "games" that are familiar and not stressful.
LAT: Look At That, a game in CU that helps a dog deal with scary or overstimulating situations.
BAT: Behavior Adjustment Treatment, approach by Grisha Stewart of Ahimsa Dog Training, that incorporates the use of positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning to change aggressive behavior.
