First I want to mention, this is not something that is going to happen soon, I just like to prepare in advance and take a look at all the angles of something(This is a relatively wordy post but I gotta explain)
TLDR after this paragraph
So I have an aunt that lives in The Nehterlands, and she convinced me that it is best for me to go live there(I am a systems ingeneer with a few certs, and apparently they need plenty of IT people as it is one of the jobs with more demand and least coverage), I will travel on vacation to drop some CVs and then come back to mexico to work on paperwork after, hopefully, getting an offer, and after that I am moving there(Either there, Germany or Ireland, but the location does not matter because it is still jumping across the pond, which is the point of my question)
TLDR
So here is the question, how safe is a trans oceanic flight for my dog, she is a hardy one all things considered, I had to leave the house for a couple of days because of my grandma passing in another state, I left her food and water and she did not touch either in the 2 days I left, and she did not have separation anxiety(I thought that I would come to a destroyed couch or bed) so I know that she can go for a long time without water and food(Not that I would want that though) but I have read in some pages that it is common for dogs to die in flights, but for the life of me I was unable to find any articles that did not talk about US flights, every single thing I found, mentions american flights, so I thought of asking here where there would probably be more experienced people on non american flights
This will be a 1 time thing, if(As I see it in several investigations I made, more like when) I get the job, I am sticking to it and will shoot for citizenship as soon as possible, so trans oceanic flights will not be a common thing for us(unless in a vacation, but in that case if it is in Europe, I prefer traveling by car or train, and if it is to another continent, I will leave her in a doggy day care or something of the sort)
What advise can you give me?
(BTW I already checked with Netherlands authorities, thought I would not get a reply, they replied next day with all the info I need for my princess doggo to be able to enter and stay in Netherlands, so that is covered
)
