That's what I call it when my dog sticks his head in and out the bowl while walking in circles round it , he must think whatever's in there is going to attack him like I've put a bag of scorpions in his bowl or something lol , was just wondering does anybody else's dog do that ? Thanks
My puppy did it as a little pup. He did/does the same thing with new treats / chews that he's excited about (things like pig ears which he doesn't get very often). He will also do it when I put out his wobbler toy w/ kibble/treats in it. He likes to make sure those exciting items are good and dead before he partakes (seriously the scorpion comment is on point).
How long has he been eating out of said bowl? My pup eats most of his kibble out of kongs when I'm gone during the day (gets one on three separate occasions when I leave / when the dog walkers leave). If I feed him from a bowl at night, it's always in his kennel so he can't do that. He just pushes it to the far back corner as he's eating lol.
no. but he also couldn't do it because the bowl stander is pretty heavy and is placed at the wall.
what Sancho does sometimes when he really enjoys his food or if he's very nervous...he wolves it down super fast then lays down on his dog bed (it's enforced as a "everyone will leave the dog alone, children"-place) and throww it up again and then slowly enjoys it.
it's pretty gross.
We still didn't manage to get this out of him...it's like he's scared of someone take it away.
