I have my small dog on zinc supplementation (among a few other things, ie. SAMe etc..) and initially I bought Zinc Orotate (as its suppose to be the highest over the counter grade), but ever study I read regrading copper toxicity in dogs and treatment - it suggests Zinc Gluconate (and acetate etc..)... NEVER any mention of orotate. Curious if Gluconate is a must. I can go purchase some, I just figured since Orotate is a higher grade, that would be better.
