My dog is super picky about his food. The ONE thing I have found that he likes is when I put the chicken jerky portion of the "good n fun triple wing flavor raw hide" treats. I don't put all of it in, or do anything with the raw hide. What I do is take the chicken jerky portion and "shave" it off so that it seasons his food. I don't even remotely use close to all of it -- just a few shavings to get him going. Think of it as grating cheese for a salad or pasta. The chicken jerky is small and almost saw-dust like. Although he loves it I'm thinking it may not be the best thing for him. Thoughts?

Try another brand of dog food. Find the one your dog will eat. Using treats to trick a dog into eating food it doesnt like does not work in the long term.

You can usually get small samples of different brands at pet stores.

Or try adding some sardines in spring water, and a bit of the water, to the dog food
