Hello, I want inexpensive/cheap recipe for more than 10 street dogs. I want to be able to prepare once a week, store and feed them once a day. Should be able to store without refrigeration. If dry-store-able food turns out to be costly then I can use refregration. But I don't know if the dogs would eat cold food. Please suggest some options. I am from South India. Thank you.

Hi, and good for you to be doing your best for these dogs! I am not in India, and do not know what is available there, or at what cost, so this is just a guess, but what about fish and rice? Toss in a few vegetables. Cook in water, then divide into batches and freeze. I know you say you'd rather not use refrigeration, but honestly I don't know any food that won't need that unless it is dry dog kibble. Can you buy dog kibble? My guess is that if they are hungry, they will eat what they are given.
