Aloe vera is on the list of ASPCA plants toxic to dogs. Aloe

I don't understand the point of feeding aloe to a dog, apart from making money for salesmen. Aloe vera is not a natural or historical part of the canine diet.

"You may have been wondering if your dog can have aloe vera juice and if it has any health benefits for your dog. In short, aloe vera juice is safe and non-toxic for your dog to consume. " Are these untrue statements websites are making? I am unsure what is true and what isn't, I've heard that parts of the plant can be harmful, but certain parts are safe and great for them.
