Hi! I'm new to this forum. I couldn't find my answer anywhere, so I figured I'd try and post here.
Before I post, I want to point out I already have an appointment with my vet for this Thursday for my boy for an unrelated reason, so I'll be sure to mention this.
I have a 9 year old Boston Terrier named Waylon. He's a finicky guy who has food sensitivities and now has a bladder infection. Now on top of it all, he has this. While he was laying on the floor, I noticed a bright red, circular rash on his right hind (inner) leg, just above the knee. I've attached a photo for better visualization. I initially thought ringworm, but it's not crusty. It's completely flush with the skin (almost looks like a stain of some sort). Right in the center, you can see a puncture spot. Could this simply be a bug bite that he's reacting to? Or does it look like an infection of some sort? It doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest; I can touch it without him wincing or pulling away - completely unfazed by it!
Thanks so much for the help,
Andrea.
