We know that Sarge's mother is a Alaskan husky, but the previous owner did not know what breed the father is. Any ideas?

Tee hee hee. U already answered ur own question. If the person u got the pup from didn't plan for a litter, then there could be many possibilities of mixes in ur pup. But since an Alaskan husky is just a bunch of huskyish types to create the fastest and most endurance sled dog, I think it's safe to say u have an Alaskan husky. Very cute and I love the one blue eye and one brown eye.

I also love the white socks.

Looks like a Malamute/Shepherd cross or Malamute/Husky cross. Beautiful dog!

Thanks guys! His mother got loose and got pregnant while the owners were looking for her so they have no idea!

Alaskan Husky isn't a breed, it's a term for a mix-breed that consists either mainly or totally of various sled dogs, purebred or otherwise.

Hence, you can still freely call your dog an Alaskan Husky
