Bump on my beagle’s snout

My beagle has a bump on her snout that popped up and grew quickly in the last 2 weeks. I am wondering if I should be concerned. I did bring her to her vet and she is scheduled to have it removed in 1 1/2 weeks. Her name is Gabby and she is 3 years old.

Dog Dog breed Carnivore Whiskers Companion dog

Face Hair Head Eye Human body

Can somebody tell me I should not be worried?
I appreciate the input.
