Hi,

I just have a curiosity. I met a guy earlier at the dog park with a 6 months old bull terrier puppy. She's a girl and weighs 13 kg now (28 pounds). I asked the owner how big he thinks she'll get and he told me she should weigh around 28 kg (61 pounds) as an adult.
To be honest that sounded a bit crazy to me as my dog (a gsd mix) weighed 14 kg (30lbs) at 6 months and she's now a year old and weighs 16kg(35lbs). I mean, she only put on 2 more kilos after 6 months and this dog is expected to put on 12??

I know i can't compare my dog to that dog as my dog is not a bull terrier, not a very muscular dog. But still. It sounded weird to me. So i was wondering if anyone has experience with bull terriers how much did they grow after 6 months

That's a hard question to answer. I've seen big puppies turn out to not be as big as expected and then tiny little pups that ended up being 100lbs. I guess the best thing to say is that the range is between 22-38kg.
