Hello everyone, first post and new to the forum.

My pup is a 7 year old German Shepherd mix. She's a healthy, active, normal dog. She has her regular check-ups at the vet, has regular normal poops, no medical hx whatsoever other then she has hip dysplasia.

About a week ago I noticed a little lump on the side of her mouth, didn't look too bad, just seemed like a mosquitoe had bitten her.

The lump hasn't gone away, still there, today I noticed it was darker, yellowish in the middle and had a red ring around it. I do have pictures.

I will be taking her into the vet just to get it checked out but wanted to ask if anyone on here has seen something similar. Thank you.

Not a tick… could not possibly say what it is, but if it was a tick, there would be a tick in the photo. Looks like a little vesicle which could be the cause of any sort of focal injury (pinch, bug bite, cyst formation etc.). Looks quiet. If grows, gets red or opens up, I would have it looked at.
