We adopted our dog Frankenstein over a year ago now. Her paperwork just said she was a husky mix. I think I see some shepherd in her and most people when they see her assume she's shepherd. I'm just curious if you guys have any ideas?

She looks more malamute than husky to me. Honestly she looks exactly like an Iditarod sled dog with her markings and body style. I see a lot of dogs that look like her, here in Alaska- especially with my friends that are mushers. I see the shepherd too- maybe Australian Shepherd? She's a cutie, though!

I know a huskyxcollie mix that looks similar to that.
