I rescued Leonardo, Leo for short, close to a year ago.
He's a pretty big dog now. I would say 80lbs. He's a little taller than a pitbull. He has a giant head, pointy ears, and is fully brindle. The place I rescued him from said he was a pit mix. I do see the similarities. Some people say he looks like Scooby Doo. (Great Dane). When we first got him (picture he's standing up in) he was just losing his puppy teeth, he was so clumsy. He would run so fast and trip over his long legs. Some say he looks like a German Shepard because of his ears. If I need to provide anymore info or pictures let me know. I'm coming to this forum before purchasing a DNA breed kit. Hopefully I'll get answers here. Thanks ?

which reagion of the world are you living?
If it's spain: cao fila de sao miguel or Dogo Canario could in the mix...basically bardino mix.
there are a lot of breeds than can come in brindle in fci group 2 section 2. you can try researching there.
if you don't have papers (and then you didn't need to ask for a breed) you can assume he's a mixed breed...probably multiple generations of mixed breeds.
could also have some kind of terrier or herding dog in there.
