Any breed can pop blue eyes. I've seen blue eyed beagles.
The problem is, you can have two dogs of the exact same mix, the same litter even, who look totally different. My previous dog was a GSD x Golden Retriever. He looked like a mix of the two, but some in his litter looked pure GSD, some looked pure GR, others were mixes with different traits- prick ears, rose ears, etc.
So simply looking online and saying, "Not enough like my dog" doesn't help. There could be a dog out there from your dog's litter who is black with rose ears or blonde with drop ears. You'd never know.
