My dog has had all of his vaccinations up to date.
He’s 5yrs old, overall healthy and the spots are gradually getting bigger and bigger.
I’m not too sure what to do to prevent this from happening so I’d love to have a look at some of your guys’ ideas.

Is that down at his hips, or am I just seeing the shine on his coat?

Has,he had a skin scrape? I wouldn't think it was demodex because of the position and usually healthy dogs don't suffer any effects from demodex, but it is easy to rule out.

You should get that checked out by a vet. Dobermans have some issues with skin diseases but they’re re also prone to hypothyroidism where one of the symptoms is hair loss.

The second picture is a much better picture, they are mainly on his lower half of his body. And no he hasn’t had a skin scrape

Nope no itching or red spots, and I’m not too sure if his ears are smelly lol. What would be considered as smelly ears?
