My dog Bruiser(8 year old Chihuahua) has terrible breathe and unfortunately I cannot brush his teeth due to that he was abused and has a fully healed broken jaw and won't let me near his mouth(which is understandable). I give him one greenie about every other day to every 3 days to help but his breathe is still terrible. He recently had dental work done right before I adopted him and had 2 teeth removed and he was already missing 16. I am just looking for suggestions on something to help his breathe and his teeth!

Aww, poor little sweetie. This won't clean his teeth, but if you have any parsley in your garden, chop some up and add it to his meal. Fresh greens are good for dogs in many ways.

Some dogs need dental work several times a year.... and having had a history of a broken jaw might mean there is some misalignment of his teeth, which might increase the calculus accumulation. Our little dogs need dentals 3x a year or their periodontal disease gets out of hand (it is very hard to brush the teeth of very small dogs, too).
