My 18week old lab has some bad breath. I wouldn't say it due to any medical condition, just dog breath. I was wondering what i could give her to help with it. I see alot of stuff out there like greenies and dentist sticks but ive read alot of bad things about those. So does anyone know of a good treat or way of treating dog breath? Thanks

I would also say food choice has a lot to do with it. When my Aussie was eating raw there is seriously zero odour to his breath, it was just hot. I can't wait to get back to raw.

Currently my dogs are eating Taste of the Wild, and I definitely don't notice their breath. My parent's lab mix is on Pedigree and her breath is DISGUSTING.

Giving a raw bone to chew on every several days helps keep teeth and gums clean. I give my dogs raw bones to chew on and it decreases "kibble breath" drastically.

Also an 18 week old puppy is probably teething, which can make the breath bad for awhile in some puppies.

I am feeding her 4 health grain free. And she is definitely teething but i believe she is about done.

My labs have horrible breath!! I get them "Tuff Mint Balls" to play with at www.schmab.com and it helps a ton!!
