We have had our Havanese for 2 years and the breath on him is really bad. We give him the Dental Stix and that helps a little. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to have his teeth professionally cleaned. Is there anything I can get that is safe to help clean his teeth and improve his bad breath? Please help.

If there is bad breath usually its a sign of poor dental health. Perhaps shop around for dental prices not all places cost a fortune.

Bad breath in dogs is caused by the same things that cause human bad breath. Poor dental care, or digestive problems. Either way, you are going to need to have your Vet involved in discovering the cause, and curing the issue. These little guys can't take care of themselves, they count on us to provide the care they need.
