I know I've posted this before and I wanted to edit it so I could add more pictures but I couldn't figure out how to do that so I just made a new thread.

I know my dog is for sure German Shepherd but I was wondering if there was any other breeds that might be mixed in. She doesn't have the typical sloping back of a GSD, working line or show line. She doesn't have much of a prey drive, as I noticed with how she reacts around other smaller animals. We took her to a farm and I showed her the chickens (so she'd get used to them and I'd know if she was okay with them) and she couldn't care less about them. She's a good dog and incredibly intelligent.

When we first adopted her from the animal shelter several years ago she was three months old. They had found her on the side of the road with no houses nearby so they had no idea what kind of dog she was or who she belonged to. The people at the shelter guessed she was mixed with coyote and, not too long ago, another person guessed coyote as well.

I do want to get a DNA test for her eventually, once I can afford it.

Any ideas?

From all I've been told by people who own actual coydog mixes, much like wolfdog mixes, they do not behave like normal dogs. They tend to be quite shy of strangers, often nervous, don't relate to other dogs normally, and often are quite prey driven. The shyness with people & in unfamiliar environments are the most notable traits I've been told.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was one or more breeds mixed in there, but I don't see any super likely options from looking at her aside from the GSD. Embark and Wisdom panel are both usually quite reliable and will re-do the tests if they come back as doubtful results.

Yeah her personality isn't like that of a coydog at all. She's all dog, no coyote or wolf. And thank you so much for telling me about the DNA test brands. That'll be awesome to know when I am able to buy one.
