Hello! This is our newest addition. We have no idea how old he is or where he came from. We're pretty sure he has boxer in him, but can't figure out what else. He came from the pound as a stray - they called him an 8 week old pitbull. I've met other pitbull puppies since, and he just doesn't resemble them. He's too big and thick, his head isn't the right shape, his feet are gigantic and a different shape, his fur is different (softer & more dense), and he's probably the laziest puppy of all time.

He has all of his baby teeth with no sign of any adult teeth pushing through. He's brindle all over with two white toes, a white chin, some white on the chest, and a tiny white patch on his nose with a complete black mask. He's gaining about 3 lbs/week on average - at about 21 lbs now. He can't hold his bowels overnight yet. His legs are super thick with big strong joints and large feet with well-formed toes (not flat or splayed at all). Head is rectangular but nose is longer and not wrinkled or turned up, no hanging jowels (sp?).

I've been all over the internet trying to guess his breed mix :) When I have the money, I hope to have a DNA panel done to find out! In the meantime, Google has been very entertaining. The closest match I've seen are some brindle Boxer/Cane Corso pups on an image search. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

It is really hard to tell with young puppies as they change so much as they grow. When the puppy is a little older, you may be able to tell more about what kind of mix he is.
