My boy (2yo staffie mix) has allergies. After doing an allergy test to find out what he was allergic to, my vet recommended either freezing his kibble (to eliminate the mites he is allergic to) or switching to a raw diet (Farmers Dog, nomnom, etc).
She also recommended compounded allergy drops for the things he's most allergic to outside. That is expensive as well..I haven't tried it yet since he got his allergy test done in the fall when things were tapering down.
