Hello, i was recently inquiring about a breeder's dogs and their future litters coming up. However when i went onto their website and also on pedigree database (the website) to review the dogs family history/ pedigree, i noticed there are two separate AKC registration numbers as well as dog names, however photos of the same dog, the only difference with the photo is the dog is looking forward in one photo and looking at the camera at the other photo. i contacted the breeder about it, maybe thought she uploaded the wrong photo, but she hung up on me after telling me a few choice words. The photos are the same on pedigree dateabase and on their actual website, however on their facebook there is no record or photos of one dog, but both photos is advertising for the other. They have already had multiple litters with both females. I was wondering if i should just leave it alone and find another breeder to purchase a puppy from or should i report to the AKC?

I'm not sure what there really is to report to the AKC, but I would definitely be changing my mind about buying a puppy from this person.

I would do both. I would find another breeder, and I would certainly mention this interaction to the AKC. Unfortunately, the AKC doesn't have time to actively monitor all their breeders, so they certainly rely on people to report when something fishy is going on.
