Hello, my dog is 7 yrs old mixed lab terrier. I have had him from a few months old. Past few weeks I notice he drools , not excessively but 3-4 times a day, which he never did like he does not know he's drooling Yesterday I noticed his eyes were bulgy , then realized as I am talking he's looking up , I start to freak. I go to give him a biscuit and doesn't see my hand giving it to him. I immediately wave my hand in front of his eyes and think he can't see I call the vet and take him Write down there. They examine his eyes, take blood and stat results we wait. Doctor says he has Sards and no reason how why etc.... He also tested positive for Lyme . Other CBc and other labs came back good diabetes, chol kidneys good He said he called and consulted with ophthalmologist while we were there, and we can go see them, but they agreed with dx.i am sure going to specialist is triple what I paid today I am so lost. Cannot believe this has happened. I go home cry all night and thus am, but I don't know why part of me thinks the drooling part is saying something else to me.its not just Sards, or it's not Sards it's something else and maybe treatable. Thanks Donna .
