Hello! First time posting here. I'm getting a little worried about one of my dogs. We adopted him a year or so ago. He is a lab/hound mix somewhere around the age of three. Every few months he will not put any weight on his back right paw for a day or two max, and then hes back to normal. However this time he was limping for two to three days till we could get him to the vet. The vet inspected him and found no cuts or anything like that, and took xrays and found nothing on there. I brought him home and he started walking better. Last night he was back to normal, and was running around a lot with some pent up energy and wrestling with his older brother. This morning hes back to limping. Hoping its just a muscle he tends to pull more frequently than others. Any one have any thoughts or suggestions???

Ours seems to re-injure her right front paw, or leg, or shoulder, never have been able to determine exactly which. She must have a weakness, and will jump, then apparently land wrong, which leads to limping for several days. She so far, has always recovered, and will go months, or even a year or two before it happens again. Vet has never found anything definitive, but the last time, she would hold that paw and leg in the air and cry. Again it didn't last long.
