Hi,
I have a 9 month old miniature golden doodle and she is light apricot in colour. I have just noticed that she has got grey/white hairs appearing on her back (and quite a lot of them). None on her muzzle though. I have read that dogs don’t usually start going grey until they are 5 and that sometimes they grey prematurely around the muzzle from the age of 2. She is only 9 months so why is she going grey?! Is there a way of reversing it? Please help if you know anything.
Thanks in advance

I'm guessing here, but I believe the greying associated with ageing does occur on the muzzle. The greying on her back, could be her natural coloring if she has some white poodle in her. Ours is all white, and nine years old, so if she is greying, I would never know.
