Hi my dog for the past three months has been limping on his front left leg and only when he has been resting and then gets up but the limp goes away after he walks it off. He doesn't seem to be in pain and I've taken him to the vet multiple times and they only say he's fine and that his leg has grown strange since he is a mix.

Over the past few months that have gone by I noticed his paw is twisting farther to the left and the bone in front is curved more than his right, I looked some things up and have come up with angular leg deformity I am not certain so if you have maybe an idea please help and does anyone have experience with this and how much surgery if needed would cost? I really dont want him living his life like this though it doesn't hurt or bother him however you move and touch his leg. I put links below of his leg.

I would take him to a different vet. Any vet that looks at that and says "it's fine" must be blind...It's clearly not.

The next vet you see should take your concerns seriously and should do an X-ray to see what's actually going on. They will also probably want to do some other tests. Do you have any recollection of a possible injury? If not, it could be a bone disease of some type. You may need to be referred to a canine bone specialist. How much the cost will be to treat/correct this would depend entirely on what is going on.

Yes, I too would not think very highly of your current vet's assessment.

Neither of those front legs look normal to me, one much worse than the other.
Something very odd is going on.

I see a lot of basset and corgi mixes with angular leg deformities. They almost always lead to premature arthritis and sporadic lameness. So in this they are not "fine." On the other hand though, there is not much that can be done to correct it without very costly surgeries, which are not recommended unless the dog is in a lot of pain.

I would get his nails trimmed ASAP, as long nails can exacerbate the stress on his joints. His nails are very long in those photos. If you want to take him to an orthopedist, you definitely should. In the meantime though, start looking into some joint support supplements to try to push off arthritic changes.
