Lol. It does get better, but it's a process. I have a almost 9 month old Lab/BC/Aussie and I swear if she wasn't so adorable I'm sure I would've ran away. No one told me when I got her that she was actually a psychotic piranha/karken mix.
She has been nothing like my last dog, has met 0 of my expectations that I had going in, doesn't fit my image of a "dream dog" (curse you Lassie!!), and yet she has become the biggest love of my life; yep, that's right, I love my little psycho kracken lol
. Thankfully puppies do grow into dogs, we just have to suffer a bit to get there (sorta like with kids).
So keep calm and remember the mantra: A tired puppy is a good puppy; it'll save your sanity a bit. Oh, and keep looking ahead, while enjoying all the good; because sadly puppyhood doesn't last forever.....or maybe that's a good thing?
