I didn't imagine it would be this hard to find dogs! Of course, I didn't imagine needing to carry a 23lb puppy everywhere, either. It's good for the biceps, right?

@LuvMyFluff, if training clubs are cheap in San Diego, I want to move there. Or maybe we have different ideas about cheap. I've not seen anything other that regular, off-site training classes at the closest SPCA locations.
@BarkyMalarkey, good to hear your pup turned out fine without extensive socialization.
@cookieface San Diego All Breed Obedience Club is non-profit club and like I said it's pretty inexpensive! Classes in all phases / usually each class is 6weeks long and the cost is $60..........not bad, considering all the classes in all the sports!!!!!! I'm trying to talk my G-Daughter into taking Molly for me as I am physically unable to do so........LOL! I used this club when I had a Rhodisian 20 years ago and they are still going strong!!!!

Wow! That is cheap! The club I belong to is $400+ for a yearly membership or ~$150/6-week class and some classes (e.g., agility, nosework) have additional fees even for members.

I was in San Diego (Coronado Cays, more precisely) for work a few years ago. It's a lovely area.

Have you tried paying your vet a "happy visit" (where Tyson can just hang out and get fed treats) during a busy time of day when there are a lot of dogs in the waiting room?
