Rainy day blues...or hyperness

So it's been raining all day...and it will be raining the rest of the week (joy). Goose hates the rain, it scares him so we can't go out and play. But I can't rid his energy inside very well without him getting too worked up and hurting me. He doesnt' like playing alone unfortunately, not for very long anyway. He gets bored. I've tried kongs and everything but he will play for a few minutes and then looses interest and tries to destroy the house...or my skin. Not sure what a good way to play with him inside without getting him too worked up to the point of biting!

What about training? That burns mental energy without getting a dog riled up.

Do you clicker train? If not, now's the time to start. If so, check out tab289 on youtube. He has lots of fun tricks and clear explanations on how to train them. Your dog will be worn out and you'll have something to show off by the end of the week.

I was attempting clicker training but I kept loosing the clicker lol so I've just settled on the marker word "yes". That's a good idea though! I'll teach him some fun tricks. Lets see if he can stay focused

Anna....one word flirtpole!!!! Or is that two?

Either way go buy yourself a horse lunging whip, tie a toy to the end, move the furniture around a bit and voila!!! TIRED PUPPY!!! Excellent way to burn off energy indoors
