I did put her "old" bed/mat in there with her favorite cuddle toy, that didn't help.
That said, eventually she settled down.
However, she had a rough night. :/
I move the crate into my bedroom at night for her to sleep in. Around midnight, I could tell she had become restless in there, although not making noise. I woke up and peered in there with the light of my phone and saw that she'd thrown up at the end/edge of her bed/mat and was eating it, full food. She was almost done eating it. Then she started nosing at the bed/mat, as though she was trying to bury the vomit, despite there being none left, she'd licked it clean.
She went back to the corner and was whimpering a little, couldn't get comfortable in the far corner away from her puke spot.
I got up and cleaned it as best I could and put it all back together and her back in, she still slept back in the corner. In the morning, she was up standing over the puke spot. So hopefully she's over it.
I hope it was tummy upset and not "I hate this crate" that made her puke...
Do dogs treat puke like pee/poop in terms of soiling?
