Since I am not a vet and I don't know exactly what happened I can't responsibly answer that. The best advice I can offer is give your vet a or a vet a call and tell them what happened and how he is acting and they will tell you whether he needs to come in and get checked out or not and what the best way to proceed is. They should do this over the phone and if they say they can't you can always call another one.
