That is why I first asked how much the puppy is sleeping to begin with and I also mentioned that my pup slept a lot too. If all the pup is doing is sleeping and not engaging at all there could be something going on. It all depends on what the OP says when she/he comes back. Better safe than sorry.

She has changed now. She plays most of the time and sleeps through the night.

She may take some naps here and there after an intense play session, but she is healthy.

I did not take her to the vet to check on her sleepyness but waited till her second round of shots and worming were due.

She has a clean bill of health

It was her first week at her new home, I was a little worried about her at first just because she is my first young dog. But like I said now at almost 10 weeks she is playing and engaging and learning tricks.

Also, she has grown a LOT lol!!

what a cutie!
good luck with her!
make sure to do all the vet checks and don't over exercise her to early.
trraining her to settle down on command and be calm in a more chaotic environment is something I'd find especially important with such an active breed...you don't want her to be overly nervous and sensitive.
Malis are an intense breed, but they aren't monsters if you did your homework.
