This a well known AKC judge that has many books out on breeding and other dog related topics.

It didn't. That's essentially what was put in the first post with a little more fluff.

I may see if I can find the 50 year old study, but that may be pointless. Maybe that will elucidate how the claims on cardiac function and adrenal function were made. I'm somewhat doubtful...

Unless there is a scientific, research-based paper or something, these claims are unfounded. Claims of improvement of cardiac function or "adrenal strength" cannot be made without medical data... no matter how many sites the info is copied onto.

Sorry, but as a science-based person, I can't believe in any of this no matter what anecdotes may say.
