so adorable!!!! wow! congrats!

i had never had a puppy before, up until 6 weeks ago. it is a learning experience! definitely go to the vet. we went to the vet two days after getting our puppy, and we go to the vet every 4 weeks. We just found out that our puppy had worms! they didn't show up until he was almost 12 weeks old, and our vet said he most likely got them from his mother, but we didn't see them until he was a little older. so it's definitely important to go to the vet regularly to check for those things.

also, as soon as she's old enough and gets the "OK" from the vet, try to socialize her with other puppies or other fully vaccinated, puppy loving dogs. this helped our dog tremendously. he behaves so much better around other dogs, because he attempts to mimic their behavior.

move slowly and be very boring to keep the puppy calm. i had to learn this the hard way, i assumed i was being slow, but not slow enough! it was such valuable advice and it helped cease pantleg biting.

finally, have patience. theo (my pup) is now almost 14 weeks old and is getting better every day, and i have to be patient with where he's at developmentally.
