I did read the sticky, though I did not look through all of the links. I'm not here to argue, that is not my intention. I'm speaking from years of science and observation, and like any other aspect of dog care, there are differing beliefs. I feed raw and raw only. Some folks think that dog food is "okay" despite the science saying it's not - of course they'll find science that says it's "okay" so we agree to disagree.

You are working with old knowlege I humbly suggest you bring your thinking up to date. Using dominance to explain behavior is the equivilant of bleeding people with leaches. Its not about opinions its about facts. You can say male and i can say female But the rabbit is only one sex

I'm not saying I go around alpha rolling dogs or choking them or feel like a relationship with a dog is a constant battle for position - I'm simply saying that there are real, defined canine behaviors, and a rose by any other name still smells the same and all that - there are submissive behaviors, calming behaviors, dominant behaviors, etc., clearly substantiated.

This is my last word on the subject. Again, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Thank you for all your feedback! Unfortunately, I'm getting the impression that besides wearing him out, there is not a whole lot I can do about this, except don't allow it.

I think if you wear him out mentally he won't do it as much How do you plan on interrupting him if he does do it? There are some good methods we can share. I would still highly suggest mental stimulation and more training

Puppies get from older dogs what is commonly refered to as a puppy license. This is a window of time (usually about 8 wks-10 mos give or take a few mos) after that the older dogs will tell them off.

I would try to find older playmates that won't tolorate that crud anymore & Just one dog isn't going to do it, since dogs dont generalize, it needs to be a lot of dogs. I wouldn't put him wih younger or like-minded dogs til this issue is over.
